Safe Space Strategies was created because I saw too many people hesitate to ask questions about safety simply because they were afraid of looking inexperienced.
Whether it was learning how to protect their home, understanding personal safety strategies, or handling a firearm for the first time, many people felt overwhelmed before they even began.

I founded Safe Space Strategies to provide a welcoming environment where people of every experience level can learn without pressure, ask questions without embarrassment, and build confidence through practical education.

I believe people deserve honest advice, practical solutions, and instruction that meets them where they are.
With more than 20 years of experience in corrections, public safety, and professional instruction, I’ve spent my career helping people prepare for situations they hope they’ll never face.
As a New York State certified instructor, I’ve taught everything from firearms safety and emergency procedures to defensive decision-making and officer training. Throughout my career, one lesson remained constant:
